Benefit Concert to Support Music Therapy!
Please help support Music Therapy...through what better way than music! The recent cuts in the budget have eliminated all music therapy services funded through the state Regional Centers in California. Music Therapy is an established health care profession that uses music to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of individuals of all ages. This cut affects many deserving individuals with special needs across the state, including children at Pasadena Child Development Associates, Inc. (PCDA). The Music Therapy program at PCDA has been active in providing services to children with autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, and many other developmental disabilities in the Los Angeles community for over 12 years.
